Insurance & Fees
Starting therapy shouldn’t be hard.
So we want the practical pieces — payment, insurance, and reimbursement — to feel clear and manageable from the start.
Insurance We Accept
We are proud to be in-network with Aetna and Northwell Direct for clients in New York. Several of our clinicians participate in these plans, so your sessions may be covered in full or in part after your copay and deductible — just like seeing any other in-network provider.
Coverage varies by plan and by clinician. We ask that you provide your insurance information before your first session so we can verify your specific benefits and match you with an in-network therapist who is the right fit for you.
Session Fees
Our rates reflect the level of training, care, and intention each therapist brings to their work. Fees vary across our team based on experience and specialization — we'll discuss exact rates during your free consultation so you know exactly what to expect before getting started.
If cost is a concern— please just ask. We believe cost should never be the reason someone doesn't get support. Every therapist on our team offers sliding scale fees based on financial need and availability. Reach out and we'll do our best to find a rate that feels sustainable and manageable for you!

In-network rates with Aetna and Northwell Direct (New York clients) will be significantly lower and depend on your specific plan's copay and deductible.
Out-of-Network Benefits
Our in-network contract with Aetna and Northwell Direct currently applies to New York clients only. If you're in New Jersey or Connecticut — or have a different insurance plan — you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits, and those benefits can be surprisingly good.
Here's how it works: you pay for your session at the time of service, and we provide you with a monthly superbill — a detailed receipt with everything your insurance company needs to process a reimbursement claim. Many out-of-network plans reimburse between 60–80% of the session fee after your deductible is met.
Helpful questions to ask your insurance company:
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed?
- What is my out-of-network deductible and how much has been met?
- How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
If questions come up, we're happy to walk through this with you — it's often more straightforward than it initially sounds.

A superbill is a detailed monthly receipt that includes everything your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network reimbursement claim — session dates, diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and our provider information.
