Hi, I’m Caroline Testa!

Her Philosophy
Caroline is a warm, empathetic therapist who believes that no one should have to face life's hardest moments alone. She works with individuals across all walks of life — children, adolescents, young adults, and beyond — who are navigating stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, major life transitions, self-esteem struggles, and difficult emotions.
What sets Caroline apart is her genuine commitment to making therapy feel human. She believes therapy should feel comfortable and collaborative — not intimidating. She creates a space that is open and nonjudgmental, where clients feel truly seen and heard from the very first session. Her warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for each person's unique journey form the foundation of everything she does.
For Caroline, therapy isn't about having all the answers — it's about creating the conditions where clients can discover their own. She brings a collaborative spirit to every session, walking alongside her clients rather than prescribing a path for them. Grounded in a person-centered approach, she weaves in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques where helpful — giving clients practical tools to shift unhelpful patterns and build real, lasting change.
Her Background
Caroline holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Buffalo State University — a foundation that gave her a deep understanding of how identity, culture, and social systems shape mental health and human experience.
Her clinical experience includes working in outpatient and community mental health settings, with a particular focus on teens and young adults. Caroline is committed to ongoing professional growth, clinical self-reflection, and providing ethical, individualized care that honors each client's unique story and goals.
