ADHD Therapy
Your Brain Isn't Broken. It Just Works Differently.
ADHD is so much more than difficulty focusing. It's the exhaustion of spending twice the energy to do half the work. It's the shame of knowing exactly what you need to do — and still not being able to make yourself do it. It's a lifetime of being told you're lazy, scattered, or not living up to your potential.
You're not lazy. You're not broken. And you don't have to keep fighting your brain alone.
We offer ADHD therapy via telehealth across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
What Is ADHD — Really?
ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how the brain regulates attention, impulse control, executive function, and emotional regulation. It is not a character flaw. It is not a lack of intelligence or effort. It is a different kind of brain — with real strengths and real challenges.
ADHD looks different for everyone. It can present as:
ADHD — Inattentive Type
Difficulty sustaining focus, following through on tasks, staying organized, and keeping track of time and details. Often missed — especially in women and girls — because it doesn't look like the "classic" hyperactive presentation.
ADHD — Hyperactive/Impulsive Type
Difficulty sitting still, waiting, controlling impulses, and regulating energy.
ADHD — Combined Type
A combination of inattentive and hyperactive/impulsive symptoms.
Adult ADHD
Many people aren't diagnosed until adulthood — often after years of struggling, compensating, and wondering why everything feels so much harder for them than for everyone else.
If you suspect you might have ADHD but were never diagnosed, therapy can be a powerful place to explore that.
Does this resonate with you…
You’re looking for a therapist who understands what it feels like when —
• You know what you need to do — but starting feels impossible
• You're great in a crisis but struggle with routine, mundane tasks
• You hyperfocus on things that interest you but can't focus on anything else
• Time feels slippery — you're either early or very, very late
• You forget things constantly, lose items, and miss deadlines despite trying hard
• Your emotions feel more intense than other people's — and harder to regulate
• You've been told you're "so smart but just not applying yourself"
• You feel like you're always behind, always catching up, always one step away from falling apart
• You've developed elaborate systems to cope — and you're exhausted
• You feel shame about things that feel completely out of your control
• You were recently diagnosed and are trying to make sense of it all

We start from the belief that ADHD comes with real strengths — creativity, hyperfocus, out-of-the-box thinking, resilience, and a capacity for deep passion. Therapy isn't about fixing you. It's about helping you understand your brain, work with it instead of against it, and build a life that fits how you actually work.
-
We help you develop practical, personalized strategies for the areas where ADHD makes life harder — executive function, time management, emotional regulation, relationships, and self-care. Not generic advice. Strategies that are actually tailored to your brain and your life.
-
One of the most profound aspects of grief work is finding meaning — not in the loss itself, but in what comes after. What does this loss mean for how you live? What do you carry forward? What do you want to honor? We explore these questions with care and depth.
-
Years of struggling, masking, and being misunderstood leave marks. We address the shame, the burnout, the anxiety, and the low self-worth that often accompany ADHD — because healing isn't just about managing symptoms. It's about rebuilding your relationship with yourself.
-
ADHD rarely travels alone. We're experienced in working with ADHD alongside anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and relationship challenges — because treating the whole person matters more than treating one diagnosis.
-
ADHD therapy via telehealth is just as effective as in-person therapy. For many people with ADHD attending from home — without the sensory and logistical challenges of getting to an office — telehealth is actually preferable. Available across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
