We use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a powerful, evidence-based approach to help clients process and heal from trauma, anxiety, and difficult life experiences.
Our Approach to EMDR Therapy
Trauma-Informed: We understand that trauma lives in the body and mind. Our EMDR-informed approach creates a safe, supportive environment where healing happens at your pace — never rushed, never forced.
Processing and Integration: Rather than just talking about what happened, EMDR helps your brain actually process and integrate difficult memories — so they lose their emotional charge and stop interfering with your present life.
Holistic and Integrative: We don't use EMDR in isolation. We weave it seamlessly with somatic therapy, attachment-based work, and mindfulness to create a comprehensive healing experience tailored uniquely to you.
Just as Effective Online: Research confirms that EMDR is equally effective via telehealth as it is in person. So whether you're in New York, New Jersey, or anywhere in between — you don't have to sacrifice quality of care to access it from the comfort of your own home.

Anxiety and panic
Phobias
Grief and loss
Childhood trauma

Family dynamics are complex, and like all relationships in our lives, they require continuous effort and commitment to remain healthy and functional. We work with the entire family unit as a whole and also provide sessions for individual relationships within the unit, such as parent and child or amongst siblings.
Our Approach to Family Therapy
Collaborative, Interactive, and Goal Oriented: Family therapy provides the opportunity to acknowledge family member’s roles and the ways in which each family member contributes to the larger family dynamic, ultimately facilitating compassionate understanding to create positive change. During family therapy sessions, we will have the opportunity to observe the ways in which family members interact with each other in order to gain a deeper understanding of each member's role and dynamic in the greater family unit. We will work to identify dysfunctional patterns of behavior in order to develop new, positive patterns. Each family member will have an opportunity to feel seen and heard and work closely with the family unit to confront challenges, create a safe space for communication and connection, and develop the practical tools and strategies to enhance problem-solving skills and resolve family tensions.
