Adolescent therapy is a specialized form of counseling designed to support pre-teens and teenagers (ages: 10-19) through the many challenges of adolescence, a critical period marked by a myriad of physical, emotional, and social changes. We work closely with pre-teens and teens to address issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, family dynamics, emotional regulation, behavioral patterns, academic stress, peer relationships, and identity exploration.


Sessions tend to be more active, as we aim to strike a balance between listening and teaching. The goal is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where pre-teens and teens can comfortably connect with and confide in an adult in a way that is often difficult for them to do with their parents and other adult figures in their life. Our aim is to allow pre-teens and teens to explore and share their feelings, learn coping skills, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and their world. By empowering adolescents to navigate challenges effectively and appropriately and to embrace personal growth, our therapy sessions aim to support them in becoming confident, balanced individuals capable of facing life's transitions.

Jenna has extensive training and experience working with adolescents and helping/coaching parents of adolescents navigating the many challenges of this developmental period. In addition to her Masters in Mental Health Counseling, she also has her Masters in Teaching and has over 6 years of experience working with adolescents in both school and mental health settings. 

Jenna prides herself on her ability to quickly connect with adolescents and truly loves working with that age group and their parents.
